How to report a phishing site to Microsoft SmartScreen

How to reach them

• Up to 100 URLs per report, one per line
• Choose Phishing as the threat type

Reporting to Microsoft SmartScreen, step by step

1. Open the Report an unsafe site (guest) form. No sign-in is needed.
2. Either type up to 100 URLs, one per line, or upload a .txt file with up to 100 URLs that is under 1 MB.
3. Under "What threats did you find on the site?" pick Phishing (site impersonates another site to gather credentials or other sensitive information).
4. Choose the main language of the site, solve the picture or audio check, and submit.

What Microsoft SmartScreen asks you to include

• The site URL or URLs.
• The threat type and the main language used on the site.

What happens after you report

• Microsoft says it processes thousands of review requests every day and uses automated systems built on artificial intelligence and its Intelligent Security Graph to review them.
